Talk:A Must for Contemplation Before Sleep
I would like to clarify the term First Books. What is meant under itself? As i understand it, these are the first published discourses (including the Darshans), published in the form of a book or as Osho Books on CD-ROM. It's a whole (solid) discourses, not part of it, right?
This compilation is NOT in the list titles included on the CD-ROM or in the list missing on the CD-ROM.
You can see from another angle: this book is represented by compilation from unpublished darshans in the form of a book, but i'm sure these darshan are published at CD-ROM.
(are there any other unknown darshans in English?)
About CD-ROM itself: the inscription in the its beginning says "The text used in this database is not the original source material and is a reference guide only." So is not the First edition too?
Should we include any series (Yoga: The Alpha and the Omega (series)) into the First book category?--DhyanAntar 14:30, 15 January 2018 (UTC)
i assume with "First Books" you are referring to "First Editions". "First Editions" are PAPER books, NOT the CD-Roms--Rudra 16:25, 15 January 2018 (UTC).
Yes, that's right. I assume that A Must for Contemplation Before Sleep is not First Edition. This is the compilation.--DhyanAntar 16:33, 15 January 2018 (UTC)
It is a compilation with texts from unpublished DDs. We also call it "First Edition Series" as it has text that has been first published in print.
One can argue that the CD-ROM was the earliest publication, but that is hardly relevant: the categories are there to make searching easier, not to be perfect in categorization. --Sugit (talk) 19:05, 15 January 2018 (UTC)
