hello.

What edition is TOC of this book? The number of pages of various edition differ.

And i would like to clarify a translation with the original book and could not find the latest chapter "Techniques Devised by Bhagwan Shree". Please, tell me names of techniques of this chapter or send me some photo or... Thanks.

The TOC always refers to the first edition of the title, unless stated otherwise.

Ch.19 (not by Osho, but written by the editors) is about, and has instructions for:

  • Dynamic (or "Chaotic" Meditation)
  • Gibberish
  • Devavani
  • The Prayer Meditation
  • The Mass Prayer
  • The Mandala
  • Kundalini Meditation
  • Whirling
  • Nataraj ("The Dancing Meditation")
  • Gourishankar
  • Nadabrahma
  • Shiva-Netra ("The Third Eye Meditation")
  • Laughing

Thank you for your concern and remark. This information helped to clarify the situation with the third part of Kniga o meditacii (Книга о медитации). --DhyanAntar 09:28, 16 June 2017 (UTC)

@doofus: What is the difference between an Introduction (all book editions) and a Preface (term used on the CD-ROM)? So the CD-ROM has changed the name of that first Osho text (unclear if it is written or spoken). What term is more appropriate? --Sugit (talk) 08:06, 31 January 2018 (UTC)

The first one, because CD-ROM was made is on based books and additional transcribings.--DhyanAntar 08:11, 31 January 2018 (UTC)

It seems First edition. because of ch.3. An interview in that chapter published in a magazine before. So let's stick appropriate category? --DhyanAntar 18:24, 29 July 2018 (UTC)

Yes, I agree. --Sugit (talk) 04:59, 31 July 2018 (UTC)

I have the feeling that the link for ch.7 is wrong: first half The Mysteries of Life and Death is the translation of Main Mrityu Sikhata Hun ~ 01, but it can not be ch.7 of the current book - texts look the defferent. I compared phisical The Mysteries and ch.7 of M:TAoE from CD-ROM and failed to find approximate match (enlightenment, sahasrar, meditation). I would say they are completely different.

My sight was been caught by incorrect date, which stated in the TOC - Feb 1971, while Main Mrityu Sikhata Hun #01 was given in 4 Nov 1969 pm.

The same case with App.6 of Dynamics of Meditation.

"Description of this chapter in Dynamics of Meditation (1973) #appendix 6: "From the book The Mysteries of Life and Death by Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh, published in 1971, at Delhi, India. (This is a small part of that booklet. Original hindi is Main Mrityu Sikhata Hun (मैं मृत्यु सिखाता हूं) ch.1.)" Chapter title: "Meditation of Conscious "Death""

I do not agree with this note. Please despel my doubts!

Surface look at ch.15-17 and i would say they are not The Ultimate Alchemy Vol 1 ~ 06. Sugit, if it is possible for you can you make a scan if Dynamics book - i would like to make the complete matching Dynamics and Meditation: The Art of Ecstasy books (the last one i can use CD's version).--DhyanAntar 11:28, 13 June 2019 (UTC)

@Antar: I think this will be a nearly impossible task, as (some) chapters will be heavily edited and material shifted around. See also <Book Ch to Discourse-dates.xls>: I gave up on it, it is still on "to do". But if you want to try anyhow, let me know, then I will try to OCR the book. --Sugit (talk) 14:02, 13 June 2019 (UTC)

I want to get this clear. The English is accessible now, but the Hindi is not. So, let me try to look into this "well" of "Art of Ecstasy" ;)) Ahaha.

If you have not much free time, then you can make scan of only 10-15 pages in order i make the test to try if i will be able to make detailed comparison or not.--DhyanAntar 15:45, 13 June 2019 (UTC)

Thanks Sugit, the results of my comparing now shown in the TOC and also in attached doc file in email. And... you should correct "my English" :-).--DhyanAntar 06:22, 17 June 2019 (UTC)

3 small parts are unidentified (unclear source of compilation). To be researched.--DhyanAntar 05:04, 1 March 2020 (UTC)
