main ebook formats are Kindle (Amazon), Nook (Barnes&Noble) and ePub (all others incl Apple iBooks). luckily, the ISBN is the same for all eBook formats. Note that for ebooks we must use 13-digit ISBN numbers (not the old 10-digit numbers).

i removed the mention of the availability of ebooks. this would be true for most books and if we go down the ebook path we ought to list them as proper editions like hard- and paperbacks. --Rudra (talk) 06:29, 15 July 2015 (UTC)


OK. While working on this one I came across the eBook ISBN and put it in the ISBN field. (Which technically works nice this way.) But this is in no way complete. This one is probably for the Amazon Kindle version. I do not know if different formats would get other ISBNs. What do you think? --Sugit (talk) 06:36, 15 July 2015 (UTC)
