Hellbent is Nirgun's tour of her life. It is a long and unusual journey, "set down in patterns rather than in sequence". Many of the story's events, seen in isolation, might seem bizarre, worthy of Mojud; seen in the context of the patterns woven, they are as natural and inevitable as a salmon swimming to its home stream.
